Bordiers Sel fumé contains glutamat and dextrose!!! really awful!!! It gave me a sore throat for half an hour.

Sibyl, I still haven’t found Bordier butter here in Zürich. And I’m with you, very disappointing butter section in Globus. Oh well, guess we’ll just have to go to Brittany !

Marie, I’m so glad you discovered MyKugelhopf – and I hope you have enjoyed reading ! Me too, wish I was on a plane right now to go back to Brittany ! Or to San Francisco for that matter ! When I lived in the States, one of my go-to butters was Kerrygold, Irish salted butter – is that what you use as well? It’s excellent quality. Enjoy !!

Kerrin – I adore Brittany salted butter. Do you have any idea if Bordier butter is available anywhere in Switzerland. I checked Globus and was sadly disappointed that their selection of butters is non-existent.
