Now, I’m so jealous about all these fabulous food shows you attend. There’s nothing quite like it here. Not on this scale. Fortunately it seems like quite a large venue so you can walk off all the goodies you sample!

Jen, I definitely thought of you while in Paris – how you to love those beautiful macarons and sweets like I do! One day, we’ll have to do Paris together. And make sure that includes the Salon du Chocolat too! The show was incredible this year once again – the report is on its way… stay tuned!

Kerrin, I’m so jealous you’re in Paris. Life is hectic for a food & travel writer huh? What a tough life you have!! Heehee! I wish I am there in Zurich to taste all the goodies! Those chocolate kugelhopfs look divine! Also, I’ve never tasted anything made from/with liquid nitrogen. Can’t wait for your report on Paris’ Salon du Chocolat! Absolutely can’t wait one minute longer…

Lani, you are so right – the liquid nitrogen is SO Halloween. I miss Halloween in NY, and growing up with trick-or-treating. Ah the memories, thanks! And yes, the sugary items certainly do grab my attention more than others, how did you guess?!

I got an advance copy of the messe booklet since a couple we purchase wine from have a stand there, and I made a big circle around the gugelhupf chocolates and wrote “Kerrin!!” I just forgot to tell you! Sorry! Glad you found them anyway.

I just love that you found your Gugelhupf! I am sure that you sampled quite a few! How fabulous! The nitrogen gases are perfect for Halloween! I hope that it tasted as good as it was fascinating to see. I am sure that you sampled all the items that had any sugar in it….and now on to the Chocolate Show in Paris. I do remember being there years ago and it was so much fun and fattening!!!! But extremely fun!!! Have a great time!!!!

I love the title of this post. But i’m so upset. I’ll be in Zurich, but will just miss the event, and as VeggieGirl said, it’s all so fascinating (yes, especially the nitrogen to ice cream). Great pix too. Can’t wait to hear about Paris’ Chocolate Show- oh, excuuuuse me – Salon du Chocolat Travel safe.
